To minimize coverage of an anti government protest in Argentina, the government banned access to the airspace around the event to limit images that could lead a viewer to estimate the size of the crowd, or the actions of the authorities.

El Cipayo simply used a radio controlled model helicopter to get the job done, posting the videos on YouTube.

Big Brother may be here, but the common man is sharing the technology.

Bryn Jurkins has come up with an idea she thinks will be a hit with busy women. Sent Her Way is a service that ships women their feminine hygiene products monthly, taking away that sometimes last minute trip to the store.   Women can customize their tampon orders eliminating or increasing the quantity for a particular size, something not available when purchasing off the shelf. Add to this the convenience of having the product delivered to their door for a dollar more than they would pay in a CVS or Walgreens.

She came up with the idea while working in sales for a garment manufacturer in New York City. “Whatever you buy in the City you have to carry,” she explains, “So I would have my dry cleaning delivered, my dog food delivered. It’s amazing the things that you can get delivered to you.”

iNflation: Americans Spend Less On Food, Movies To Pay For Soaring Cell Phone Obsession | ZeroHedge

That trend is evident in the home of 40-year-old Scott Boedy, a neighborhood service representative for a cable company.

Mr. Boedy said he and his wife now pay $200 a month for cellphone service, up by about $50 from early last year, even as they have managed to cut spending on groceries by shopping at discount chain Aldi and on “fun stuff” by going out to dinner and movies less often.

Looking over the family budget on Sunday night, Mr. Boedy said, his wife marveled at how much of it was going to the phone company.

“It stinks,” Mr. Boedy said. “I guess it’s the cost of modern-day America now.”

No Scott, it isn’t. It’s the consequence of your choices. But as long as one has the ability to do what every other borderline insolvent entity in the world does, namely to “charge it”, sweep it under the rug.
